Elevate the Ride & Expand Your Possibilities

Welcome to Pacific Motorcycle Training, the top school in the San Jose/South Bay area, where riders can take their motorcycle riding to a new level. Take in some new techniques, experience professional coaching and stretch yourself in an experience that will help you fine tune your skills and follow your path to mastery. At our San Jose site we offer both intermediate and advanced course for licensed riders.

Total Control® Intermediate Riding Clinic

Developed by Total Control Training, the Intermediate Riding Clinic is the perfect next step for newer riders who are looking to improve their skills as well as riders that have recently returned to riding after years off. This course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction. The IRC is based on the most current research in rider safety, utilizes modern training methods and has been proven to enhance student outcomes. (This is not a licensing course —you must have your M-1 to participate in the IRC at the San Jose location. For the Intermediate Riding Clinic / CMSP 1-Day Premier Course with licensing option, please see our class offerings in Livermore and Salinas.)

Total Control® Advanced Riding Clinic

Whether you want to become a more proficient and safer rider on the street—or a faster rider on the track—mastering advanced riding techniques is crucial and should not be postponed until it is too late. Unfortunately, most advanced riding courses in the country are only offered in high-speed racetrack environments. The fear of crashing at high speeds and the pressure of other riders flying by are too intimidating to most motorcyclists so they never take this important step forward. During our Advanced Riding Clinics, every drill is performed one at a time, and at street-legal speeds, in a controlled environment. After each run, you will receive professional, concise coaching on the specific skills you need to work on to transform your riding. From cruisers to sportbikes, all types of motorcycles and riding styles are welcome to attend. This course is based on Lee Parks' best selling book Total Control: High Performance Street Riding Techniques.

"I took the most basic course Pacific Motorcycle Training offers (for simply getting your license). The instructors are very knowledgeable at teaching motorcycle riding, and made the whole experience stress-free, clear to understand, and fulfilling. It is worth the money, and I plan on coming back for more advanced classes after I get more advanced at riding."
― Santi Piva
"The instructors were friendly and very knowledgeable. They were patient and gave me a lot of helpful tips when I was having trouble with the controls and following some of their instructions. Evie ran to help me when I fell over (thank God I wasn't going fast). I would have liked to spend more time getting used to the bike before starting maneuvers. It was my first time on a motorcycle and I never learned how to drive a car with a manual transmission so it took me a while to learn how to coordinate the clutch/switching gears with the acceleration. But I know they had a lot to cover in a short period of time, which is why I'm not lowering my rating. Plus, they had to help others in the class while keeping up the momentum of the course. Overall, I thought it was a great course and I'd recommend it to anyone."
― Candice Canady
"Erin, Crusoe and Eevie have been very patient with me. I had zero experience with gear shifting and they made it very easy to learn. They are very knowledgeable about the courses. They made it very easy to learn and understand on how to be a safe rider. Thank you guys so much for this opportunity and I highly recommend them if you were to learn how to ride motorcycle and to become a safe rider."
― Linda Luu
"The instructors gave honest feedback in the moment. Giving me the best opportunity to really learn the skills needed for riding. I had a wonderful experience and plan on returning for the next two courses!"
― Jolene Jensen
